We are seeking an Associate Consultant to join our team in Cambridge, MA. Through project experience and direct mentoring, this role at Viscadia will offer an in-depth education in business dynamics of the life sciences industry and training in core management consulting skills including critical thinking, problem-solving, client management, and executive communication.

Responsibilities
- Develop a clear understanding of client businesses and visualize Viscadia’s role in helping solve their problems.
- Develop in-depth understanding of Viscadia’s forecasting frameworks, approaches, and methodologies to address client needs.
- Develop expertise in pharmaceutical forecasting and aim for excellence and functional leadership in this regard.
- Design and execute custom solutions to client problems using technical skills in Excel, VBA, Access, Python / R, SQL, Tableau, etc.
- Develop the therapeutic area expertise necessary to contextualize and support the process of problem solving.
- Devise and execute primary and secondary market research to aid the process of problem solving
- Collaborate with offshore teams to execute analyses, create deliverables, and manage client engagements on a day-to-day basis.
- Crystallize analyses and deliver communication to clients as well as internal stakeholders through verbal and written media (emails, PowerPoints, etc.)
- Develop working relationships with clients and serve as point-of-contact on key frontiers in the engagement.
- Actively participate in internal initiatives and contribute to developing Viscadia’s capabilities and enhancing our offering
- Learn from senior members on the team, and mentor/coach junior members, as appropriate.

Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in any discipline with strong academic credentials in analytic and quantitative curriculum
- Preferably 3-5 years of experience in consulting, analytics, or similar roles in the pharma/biotech domain
- Strong analytical abilities with a knack of crystallizing insights and recommendations from complex analyses
- Preferably functional knowledge of healthcare datasets, syndicated databases, and other related resources
- Preferably functional understanding of forecasting and associated practices
- High motivation, good work ethic, maturity, and personal initiative
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work in the onsite-offshore model in management consulting
- Good attention to detail with an unwavering focus on quality
- Aspiration for leadership positions with a constant endeavor for self-improvement
