Manager, Organizational Growth & Development

We seek a leader to join our India team in Gurgaon to partner with management to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of the business and develop the team into a stronger cohesive unit which delivers value to clients.

Responsibilities

Organizational Growth

  • Take ownership for the India team from people, HR, legal, financial, and administrative perspective
  • Evaluate and improve current processes and implement new processes
  • Ensure development of leadership and managerial skills at various levels
  • Proactively evaluate capacity versus demand for resources and ensure the organization stays one step ahead of the demand
  • Work with external partners to help maximize growth, retention, and talent acquisition

Compensation, Rewards & Recognition(R&R)

  • Drive consistent compensation practices with managers including annual compensation revision consultation, and industry benchmarking
  • Gain good business knowledge for decisions on pay-for-performance, target pay and pay equity, etc.
  • Own different R&R programs–compensation, incentives and appraisals including HR & manager communications

Payroll

  • Partner with the accounting team to administer payroll & benefits
  • Act as a liason between the employees and the accounting team

Talent Development

  • Drive key talent development, retention and growth efforts
  • Ensure successful on-boarding of new team-members
  • Facilitate employee development activities such as goal setting, appraisal, and performance feedback
  • Develop and implement employee career roadmap and ensure appropriate communication of the same
  • Champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver exceptional business results

Talent Acquisition

  • Actively work towards building a diverse and talented team to support the organization
  • Use various methods to recruit and network with potential candidates through classical and creative resources
  • Own the recruitment cycles end-to-end including, evaluation and offer process of potential candidates

Learning and Development

  • Partner with the leadership team to create learning and development plans – delivery model, right mix and use of modalities
  • Own the delivery of such solutions along with impact measurement, program revisions and communication
  • Apply best practices, tools, and technology to advise on and evaluate options to elevate the learning strategy

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources from premier B-school
  • 7-8 years of work experience including at least 4-5 years managing and leading teams
  • At least 3-4 years’ experience working in a consulting environment
  • Experience with a pharma/biotech consulting firm preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to utilize platforms such as MS Office, ZOHO, and Docusign effectively
  • Willingness and ability to work in a small and fast-growing organization
  • Collaborative approach and ability to build and lead teams
