We seek a Manager to join our team in the United States, based out of the Boston area. Through direct collaboration with the senior leadership, this role at Viscadia will offer an exciting opportunity – to be a part of a growing team of exceptional individuals, and to leverage your rich experience in pharmaceutical/biotech management consulting and play an instrumental role in shaping the next phase of growth for the organization.


The responsibilities of the Manager will include:


  • Lead project management and end-to-end execution across multiple engagements: project planning, scoping, estimating, resource requirements and internal collaboration; implementation and delivery of quality outcomes within the constraints of timelines, budgets and resources
  • Advise and coach the cross-functional project team on the business perspective as well as the tactical domain (i.e. data, solution approaches, etc.) to inform key project decisions in a way that is collaborative, inclusive, and progressive
  • Coach and mentor team members by providing leadership in terms of project management best practices, practice area expertise, therapeutic and client alignment as well as professional development guidance at an individual level
  • Advise on and provide regular updates to senior management on the status of client engagements, business development prospects and internal needs and developments around capability building

Client Relationships

  • Actively develop and manage client relationships – identify key stakeholders in the client organization, clearly understand their challenges and unmet needs, and provide thought-leadership in identifying opportunities, mitigating possible areas of risk and adding value to their business practices and performance
  • Create/write/develop/present creative, compelling, and effective responses to client requests and solicitations – including Request for Proposal (RFPs) and ad hoc client requests

Revenue Growth

  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities with the existing clients to drive higher revenues by engaging with them on newer prospects and areas of their business where Viscadia can lend its expertise and add value
  • Assist and support senior management in the process of identifying, targeting and prospecting potential new clients, thereby adding to the roster of active clients

Corporate Growth

  • Collaborate actively with the senior-management to imagine, visualize, plan and execute the next-phase of organizational growth and team-building
  • Play an active role in the innovation and enhancement of services and products from Viscadia – aiming to grow our forecasting offering through the development of new capabilities and business


The qualifications should include:

  • Functional Expertise: Demonstrated experience of working in the Pharma & Biotech space, with a deep understanding of the different structured and unstructured problems concerning the client’s business
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Deep understanding of forecasting as a discipline, and direct or indirect experience of working with/developing forecasts, preferably for Pharma & Biotech assets
  • Consulting Experience: Demonstrated experience of having worked in a consulting environment with a keen focus on understanding the business problem at hand and a solution-oriented approach to value-addition
  • Team Management Experience: Demonstrated experience of managing, developing and coaching team-members
  • Project Delivery Experience: Demonstrated experience of having led the delivery of (multiple) client projects, with a focus on service quality, resource management and relationship management
  • Business Development Experience: Demonstrated experience of sustained business development, with a focus on driving business with existing clients, securing business with new clients, and contributing to the identification and prospecting of potential new clients
  • Onsite-Offshore Business Model Exposure: Familiarity with a business model that has an offshore component at the heart of it’s delivery mechanism would be preferred
  • Tactical Experience: Expertise/familiarity with pharmaceutical data-sets, databases, practices, audits and recent developments in the field of patient-data would be preferred
  • Professional Experience: 7-10 years of work-experience in a consulting/advisory/service-delivery role
  • Educational Qualification: Top-tier MBA or an equivalent advanced degree would be preferred
